Convincing despite many reservations

Ingolf Linke joined DPL in October 2018 after working in the shipping industry for a while. He came into contact with a job broker via the Port Academy, who then put him in touch with DPL.

He introduced himself to DPL, but was not at all impressed at first. He had major reservations about temporary work and the DPL employees were unable to dispel all of them immediately.

Nevertheless, he decided to take the plunge and after a few months at DPL, Ingolf gained confidence in the company and especially in its sales manager Andreas Künsting, who became Ingolf's first point of contact.

"If I ever needed a day off, it was no problem at all, the vacation arrangements always went smoothly and correctly. And even if there were problems with something, I could always call DPL and Mr. Künsting took care of it."

In addition to transparent communication, it is particularly important to DPL to work very carefully in all matters relating to wages. This minimizes unnecessary noise and ensures a smooth process between DPL, customers and employees:

"What I appreciate about DPL is that I always had the agreed salary in my account at the agreed time."

Ingolf started at DPL with simple auxiliary tasks and then steadily worked his way up, often taking on responsibility for large machines at DPL's customers after a short time. Most recently, he worked as a machine operator for a recycling company in Duisburg.

His work at DPL has resulted in two major changes in Ingolf's life: "I finally have a regular daily routine and, as a result, a regular life at last!"

Until he left in the summer of 2024, he worked exclusively close to home in Duisburg. His length of service was always above average because he did a great job everywhere. His last assignment at DPL lasted 15 months and ended with his permanent employment with the customer.

That's why Ingolf would always recommend the DPL to others! His main wish for himself is to stay healthy for the rest of his life.
